Explore the captivating allure and rich heritage of the Old Naval Republic of Amalfi through a crafted journey that intertwines history and gastronomic delights.

Enjoy a leisurely morning starting at a local pastry shop, where the aroma of freshly baked treats sets the stage for the day's exploration. A visit to a charming handcrafted paper store adds a touch of artisanal elegance to our adventure, allowing us to appreciate the traditional craftsmanship that has defined Amalfi for centuries.

Our next destination invites us to delve into the artistry of limoncello production at a renowned liqueur producer's establishment. Here, we will not only witness the process of crafting this iconic lemon-infused liqueur but also have the privilege to savour its exquisite taste, immersing ourselves in the true essence of Amalfi's culinary heritage.

Following this, our journey takes us to the awe-inspiring Duomo, a medieval cathedral dedicated to Saint Andrew. Explore the intricate details of the cathedral, including its remarkable cloister and ancient relics, as you absorb the historical significance of this architectural masterpiece.

A gastronomic interlude awaits us at a well-known hotel, where a picturesque terrace serves as the backdrop for an appetising lunch. Before the dining experience unfolds, witness the culinary spectacle of chefs in action, preparing fresh seafood fritters presented in the traditional "cuoppo." Once considered street food, these fritters are now elevated to the status of a cherished delicacy, offering a taste of Amalfi's culinary evolution.

As the day unfolds, immerse yourself in the breathtaking seascape, marvelling at the scenery, while sipping on a glass of organic wine sourced from the mountains that majestically tower behind us. This serene moment serves as the perfect conclusion to our Amalfi adventure, leaving you with memories of an enchanting day filled with cultural richness and culinary delights.

FAQ

Booking should be done in advance. We recommend contacting us at least 3 months before your arrival, especially if you are booking a customised trip. Of course, we would do our best to satisfy your request also at a shorter notice but in high season (June, July, August) late bookings cannot be guaranteed.

The best months are in Spring and Fall when the weather is not too hot.

April, May, early June, late September and October being the best option.

Completely off the season tours are suggested also in Winter when the weather can still be surprisingly mild and there are very few tourists.

We usually avoid taking people around in the first three weeks of August when it is Summer high season over here. Places are packed and roads are very busy, especially along the coast and the heat can condition the visits to farms and vineyards.

This will depend on the number of guests. We supply comfortable mini vans or small buses.

Yes, however these must be communicated in advance. Please see special requirements.

If you are unsure about a trip, we can customise a trip for you. Please see link customised tours).

Bookings can be made by contacting us directly on the website. Please detail how many people and which is the type of tour you are interested in.

Each tour is different from the other and you can choose the tour which is more suitable to your requirements. Most of our tours include some walking but some are little heavier than the others, depending on the sites visited and also on the heat during the summer months. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any information about our tours.
