FAQ

Booking should be done in advance. We recommend contacting us at least 3 months before your arrival, especially if you are booking a customised trip. Of course, we would do our best to satisfy your request also at a shorter notice but in high season (June, July, August) late bookings cannot be guaranteed.

The best months are in Spring and Fall when the weather is not too hot.

April, May, early June, late September and October being the best option.

Completely off the season tours are suggested also in Winter when the weather can still be surprisingly mild and there are very few tourists.

We usually avoid taking people around in the first three weeks of August when it is Summer high season over here. Places are packed and roads are very busy, especially along the coast and the heat can condition the visits to farms and vineyards.

This will depend on the number of guests. We supply comfortable mini vans or small buses.

Yes, however these must be communicated in advance. Please see special requirements.

If you are unsure about a trip, we can customise a trip for you. Please see link customised tours).

Bookings can be made by contacting us directly on the website. Please detail how many people and which is the type of tour you are interested in.

Each tour is different from the other and you can choose the tour which is more suitable to your requirements. Most of our tours include some walking but some are little heavier than the others, depending on the sites visited and also on the heat during the summer months. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any information about our tours.

Yes, pick up and drop off can be arranged with additional costs. Flight numbers and times should be communicated before travel to guarantee a smooth pick up.

At Vinviaggiando, we want you to have the best possible experience of the Campania region therefore we will work with you to find the best possible solution for your trip.

That will depend on the season. From June to September, the weather is usually extremely hot and humid. We do recommend comfortable clothes and shoes for our trips and also a hat or a cap for the obvious reasons. March to May and October and November can be changeable. Light jackets and waterproofs are recommended, however please check the weather forecast before your trip to be on the safe side.

We are only able to provide information on your joining and finish point accommodation, the details of which are listed in the “Essential Trip Information” that will be sent to you once you have booked.

This will depend on the type of trip you book. We normally provide accommodation for small groups (from 2 to 10-12 people) if you book a longer trip. However, if you have a larger group and you contact us for a customized trip in advance, we can try and provide accommodation too. One-day tours do not include accommodation. If you wish to book your own accommodation, we will pick you up at your accommodation of choice.

Yes, we highly recommend that you buy travel insurance before you travel.

Families are welcome to do trips with us however, please note that we do not do visits to fun parks or other children's attractions, we do however try our best to include children as much as possible in the tour so that they also have a memorable time learning about the famous historical sites and the other places we visit. We are sure they will have a lot to tell their friends when they get home.
