Experience the world-famous Neapolitan pizza for lunch, followed by a walk along the lungomare and admire Vesuvius in the distance. Later, enjoy the upper part of Naples with its beautiful castle and monastery to end your day with some free time to stroll around on your own. (additional dinner is available on request)

Day 3: Discovering the Amalfi Coast: Explore Ravello's breathtaking views and visit world famous landmarks like Villa Cimbrone or Villa Rufolo. Take a walk down-hill along the valley of the old mills and, on the way, stop at a farm house for a cooking lesson to make handmade pasta and other local recipes made with the vegetables from their garden. In the afternoon, head down to the charming coastal town of Amalfi, explore the medieval cathedral and stroll around the narrow alleys of its historical centre, then have an aperitif as the sun goes down, before returning to your hotel in Naples.

Day 4: Medieval gem : Venturing into a serene area, far removed from the bustling tourist hubs, and seemingly frozen in time, embark on a journey to the medieval village of Sant’Agata dei Goti. Wander through cobblestone streets lined with charming architecture as a selection of monuments, usually hidden from the casual observer, are opened especially for our visit.  Enjoy a delightful meal and exceptional wine at a wine-making farm within an ancient noble house. Explore the century-old cellars and witness the evolution of winemaking techniques. Discover the history, gastronomy, and winemaking artistry of this time-honoured estate.

Marvel at the preserved frescoes, mosaics, and architectural wonders of the villa, and immerse yourself in the rich history of pasta production with a 4D visual exploration. Indulge in a diverse array of pasta dishes that showcase the unique characteristics of Gragnano's renowned pasta, and celebrate the town's rich heritage.

Day 6: Paestum and Buffalo Mozzarella: Embark on a tour that combines a visit to a mozzarella dairy farm with a guided tour of the ancient marvels of Paestum, where Greek temples dating back to 600 BC stand as enduring testaments to the region's rich history. Explore the archaeological site, unlock the mysteries of these majestic structures and let yourself be enchanted before the stunning painted tombs preserved in the small archaeological museum.

At the farm, witness the traditional techniques of mozzarella-making and learn about its cultural significance. Enjoy a lunch of freshly made mozzarella as we share captivating tales of buffaloes in Southern Italy.

Day 7: Royal Splendour and Royal wine: See the grandeur of the Eighteenth century with an itinerary that combines history, culture, gastronomy, and the timeless charm of a historic village.

Visit the magnificent Royal Palace of Caserta, a stunning architectural marvel modelled on Versailles. Explore the extravagant rooms, elaborate gardens, and get a glimpse into the lavish lifestyle of the Bourbon royalty.

Lunch at a local winery where you will taste the grape variety Pallagrello, which was once the preferred wine of the Bourbon King in his court. In the afternoon visit the ancient silk factory of San Leucio. Learn about the world-famous silk factory and the silk road and hear the stories of the vineyards of ancient Rome in this part of Northern Campania.

Day 8: Pompeii Exploration and Farewell: Our journey takes us to the ruins of Pompeii, frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Walk through the well-preserved structures and absorb the haunting atmosphere that whispers tales of a bygone civilization.

FAQ

Booking should be done in advance. We recommend contacting us at least 3 months before your arrival, especially if you are booking a customised trip. Of course, we would do our best to satisfy your request also at a shorter notice but in high season (June, July, August) late bookings cannot be guaranteed.

The best months are in Spring and Fall when the weather is not too hot.

April, May, early June, late September and October being the best option.

Completely off the season tours are suggested also in Winter when the weather can still be surprisingly mild and there are very few tourists.

We usually avoid taking people around in the first three weeks of August when it is Summer high season over here. Places are packed and roads are very busy, especially along the coast and the heat can condition the visits to farms and vineyards.

This will depend on the number of guests. We supply comfortable mini vans or small buses.

Yes, however these must be communicated in advance. Please see special requirements.

If you are unsure about a trip, we can customise a trip for you. Please see link customised tours).

Bookings can be made by contacting us directly on the website. Please detail how many people and which is the type of tour you are interested in.

Each tour is different from the other and you can choose the tour which is more suitable to your requirements. Most of our tours include some walking but some are little heavier than the others, depending on the sites visited and also on the heat during the summer months. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any information about our tours.
